Two days a week Hannes works as a type designer for Luc[as] de Groot at his studio. The design work for the Kombinat-Typefounders happens in his study at home in Berlin, during long nights and short weekends.
Hannes Famira is principal of the Kombinat-Typefounders.com, a small typefoundry based in Berlin, Germany. At the moment the website of the Kombinat-Typefounders is moving to a new server and a dynamic backend and is off-line. The masterplan is to go back live with a bang offering a bunch of fresh, new typefaces and a reworked retail library. Lots of work left to be done there...

TypEdu.org provides a general forum and resource to students of Hannes Famira's type design classes. You should be able to find any kind of type-related information there specifically in reference to Hannes' teaching and current classes. The new site is redesigned with a dynamic contents management system in the back and has lots of new information and pictures.
